The phrase "a body hast thou prepared for me" in Hebrews 10:5 is significant because it speaks of the power and precision of God's plan for our salvation. It also speaks of the certainty of that plan and the personal involvement of God in it. As God prepared a body for Jesus that could live with mortal man and even die, so has He prepared bodies for us that can live with an immortal God and not die! As God had a plan for Jesus, so does He have a plan for us. We can trust Him to fulfill it.
